With a long tradition of offering unique experiences, art and culture have always played a central role at Vår Gård. Since the 1990s, music became an important part of the business, when Vår Gård developed into a cultural center where classical concerts and art exhibitions took place. Today we carry on the tradition with new musical events.

This unique evening brings together some of Sweden's top jazz musicians to offer an extraordinary musical experience. With both legends and rising stars on stage, a dynamic and inspiring concert is promised that will touch and delight all jazz lovers.
Emmalisa Hallander, raised in Saltsjöbaden, is a prominent Swedish jazz singer and composer who has in a short time made a strong impression on the Swedish jazz scene. In 2023, she was named "Breakthrough of the Year" by the music magazine Lira, and her voice was compared to legends such as Alice Babs and Anita O'Day. Despite her young age, Emmalisa has already acted as a soloist with Stockholm Jazz Orchestra, toured with Peter Asplund and released his debut album "Have a Look Inside". She has also received several scholarships for her work in music.
Karl Olandersson, born in 1978 in Hedemora, is one of Sweden's most hired jazz trumpeters. After his degree from the Royal College of Music in Stockholm in 2001, he has worked as a freelance musician and participated in a variety of contexts. Karl has released several albums in his own name, including "Walk and Talk". He regularly plays with groups like Stockholm Jazz Orchestra, Stockholm Swing All Stars and his own quartet. In addition to the jazz scene, he has participated in television productions such as "Let's dance" and "Allsång on Skansen" and collaborated with artists such as Ariana Grande and Demi Lovato.
Patrik Boman, born in 1964, is an experienced Swedish double bassist, composer and producer. He started playing jazz at the age of 14 and has since had a prominent career. Patrik has played with international jazz stars such as Benny Golson, James Moody and Steve Grossman. He has also produced and arranged for artists such as Lisa Ekdahl, where the album "When Did You Leave Heaven" became a great success. Patrik has released several albums in his own name and has received awards such as the Golden record and the jazz cat.
Henrik Jäderberg is a Swedish jazz drummer known for his dynamic and responsive game. He has collaborated with several prominent artists and is part of Emmalisa Hallander's ensemble. Henrik has appeared on scenes such as Fasching and participated in various jazz projects, which has made him an appreciated musician in the Swedish jazz scene.
Stefan Gustafsson is an established Swedish jazz pianist known for his versatile and sensitive games. He has collaborated with a number of prominent musicians and contributed to several recordings in the jazz genre. Stefan has been part of Bernt Rosengren Quartet for over 20 years. The group made a total of five albums, of which a "I'm flying" was rewarded with the Golden record. Stefan is also part of Trio Legacy, a group that praises the traditions of jazz by interpreting works by composers like Richard Rodgers.
Outside the venue there is a bar with drinks and snacks for pleasant mingling before and during the break.
The bar opens at 19:00 and is open during the half time break.
The concert runs between 20 - 22.
