Camera surveillance

At Vår Gård camera surveillance takes place in public areas in order to prevent and investigate crime. We monitor cameras with the support of a balancing of interests based on the fact that we strive for a safe hotel environment for both our customers and employees. In addition, our balancing of interests is based on the fact that image material is only reviewed if there are suspicions of crime and that image material is deleted after two months, which is deemed to pose a limited risk to the freedom and rights of the data subjects. This risk is considered reasonable in comparison with the risk of being exposed to crime if camera surveillance does not take place. If a crime is suspected, the material may be handed over to the police. Vår Gård is responsible for its camera surveillance and is responsible for personal data.

If you have questions about our camera surveillance, you can contact our data protection officer via dso@kf.se .
