Welcome to a new season and future
Now is the time. Now we are opening up after the summer break and looking forward to an exciting and new season. The tough and uncertain spring brought with it many challenges, but also many opportunities. A major adjustment was made in strong headwinds and if it weren't for our wonderful guests and tirelessly determined employees, we might not have been able to make it. And we are moving forward despite whirlwinds and flying wood.
Speaking of flying wood, we are currently undergoing an ongoing renovation and renovation to make room for a new bakery and wine café at the entrance. We can't wait to welcome all guests again and will open the doors a little in advance on Monday, August 31st. Then it's nice to take a peek and say hello to the staff or maybe sit down and work in the updated conference lounge upstairs. The bakery and wine café will be ready on September 11th and the first Family Dinner of the season will also be served. Keep an eye out for new menus and updates on the website and fun inspiration on our social media.
Autumn offers lots of news and surprises and we feel very excited and inspired. You will meet both old acquaintances and new faces in the house. Among other things, we have a new Food & Beverage Manager in Liam Ginnane who, with long experience and a stellar restaurant behind him, will offer exciting food experiences in the future. We will also have our sweet tooth satisfied by our new bakery manager Josefine Baumman who, together with our strong baking team, will lift the bakery to new modern heights. With all these new taste experiences waiting, it is fortunate that we are going to build an outdoor gym. Even the body and health need a workout, not just the soul.
Yes, we are very excited about what lies ahead and hope to share the journey with all our fantastic guests and employees. We keep Vår Gård alive together.
