DEAR GUEST,
This is a letter full of gratitude and love. In a tough time that has affected the entire world, we as people have truly been put to the test. We have lived and are living in a time of great social restrictions, uncertainty and fear for the future. For us at Vår Gård it has meant a completely new reality with empty premises and missed meetings. From one day to the next, we were challenged to completely change our ways just to be able to stay open. It wouldn't have been possible without you.
You who have stopped by for lunch or coffee in our café, or brought your family for a lovely Friday dinner in the restaurant. All the hardworking students and home workers who have chosen to settle down on a sofa or in a room for some work peace and inspiration . Maybe you were out for a walk and took the opportunity to buy takeaway food for grandma or the neighbor who is not allowed to go out. You curious guests who have dropped in to look at the art or just have a chat with the girls at reception.
We are giving the house and employees a much-needed rest during the height of summer to gather new energy for the start of autumn. Then we will be ready with, among other things, a new restaurant and lots of exciting news. Thank you very much for visiting us and welcome back.
Thanks to your visits, Vår Gård has been kept alive and has spread joy and hope in all of us employees. We have been able to continue with what we love most, creating sustainable experiences for you as a guest. Now we are approaching the unplanned summer vacation days and hope that we can all find ways to enjoy them. Discover our beautiful nature and archipelago environment with a refreshing swim and picnic. Make the most of all the bright summer evenings that lie ahead.
