Who was Harold?

Harald Elldin (1892–1968) was the first director of studies at the Swedish Cooperative Association and played an important role in the education provided at Vår Gård in the early 20th century. His work laid the foundation for general education within the cooperative and made the place a hub for knowledge and social engagement. The fact that the premises bear his name is a tribute to the educational and inclusive tradition that still lives on at Vår Gård.
