Our poetry workshop is held in one of our beautiful and calming spaces, perfect for creative writing. At Vår Gård you are surrounded by scenic surroundings near the sea and always have art and culture present for extra inspiration.

We take a break for coffee in the middle of the session, where you can reflect, share thoughts and be inspired by the conversation.
The workshop contains a mix of writing exercises, inspiration and reading aloud of both Bianca's own and others' poems. Through playful exercises and concrete writing tips, you get to try different ways of approaching poetry and sharpen your expression. We explore questions such as: How can you capture a feeling in words? How can you make your language more alive? How do you find your own voice in poetry?
Bianca Barck is a writer, poet and letter illustrator, raised in Åland and now living outside Stockholm. She has over 15 years of experience as a journalist, copywriter and content creator. Bianca has published two poetry collections: "Det klarnar opp" (2021), and "Stormen" (2022). In addition to her writing, she works with handlettering and illustrates letters. Her poetry often ends up close to nature and in the strong emotional register between love, light and darkness.
