Our new beautiful meeting room Harald is named after the Cooperative Association's first study leader Harald Elldin who was principal at Vår Gård 1924-59. He let people take part in aesthetics, art and culture alongside efficiency and sales and said that we would do a better job if we felt a meaning, a context and a connection to history. He introduced new pedagogical methods such as group work that we are so familiar with today. The meeting between people gives rise to ideas and creativity. His values are still alive today and Harald Elldin is an important part of our cultural heritage. A fiery soul.
