WHAT IS SILENT DISCO?
Silent Disco is a modern dance event that streams music in high-quality wireless LED headphones instead of through large speaker systems.
There are three different music channels to choose from via the push of a button on the page. Each style of music is linked to a color so you can easily recognize who is on the same dance floor as you. ORIGIN
Silent Disco emerged as a concept in the 90s where activists used headphones at outdoor parties and events to reduce disturbing sounds for animals and nature. Today, Silent Disco is a big hit in the world, mainly in New York, Los Angeles, Berlin and London. Most recently at Vår Gård .
THE EXPERIENCE
Dancing with the music headphones gives a more personal feeling that the music is being played just for you.
Like having your own private DJ. Depending on the choice of music channel, different colors are displayed and if you see someone dancing loose to another color, you can easily switch to their channel and dance at the same pace. The channel is often changed to the one that has the most fun on the dance floor and dance groups are formed that match the same color. This is pure and simple dance joy where everyone dances at their own pace and style without criticizing each other.
